Mark B. Retacco
Mark B. Retacco is a talented up and coming native New Jersey artist.
His resume consists of an extensive background in the Hollywood entertainment industry having worked for 20th Century Fox and Paramount Studios. Mark’s last stint in Hollywood was for Color Systems Technology whose sole responsibility was the conversion of Ted Turner’s Classic movie library. I got a lot of flack for this. Please note I worked on copies from the Master Film it was safe from harms way. “I say HEY! Its not as bad as cutting down tree’s from the Rain Forrest”.
· December 31st, 1995 New Jersey Asbury Park Press named him one of the hottest people to watch in New Jersey and called him an ARTSTAR* on the horizon!
1995 Mark received a letter of recognition from President Bill Clinton while his work was on loan to the White House.
1996 PBS invited him to participate in the initial exhibit of Showcase-the On-Line Guide to Arts & Culture.
1997 MTV premiered his work in the Real World Boston House.
Mark’s work is in bold primary colors using acrylic on canvas and he has a number of limited addition prints.
“My paint brush takes me on a journey of happiness, despair and self discovery, at times I just glide along losing my fears without boundaries or inhibitions”.
“I am grateful to He who is the entire ONE who has given me this talent it is my sanity and independence from This World.”
Mark believes that “Life is Art” and is enjoying the challenges it brings.
